This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our website, browse our trailer inventory, request trade-in valuations, schedule service, or get in touch with our team.
Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to give us and a small amount of technical information generated automatically when you use the site.
- Personal information: your name, email address, phone number, and other details that you voluntarily provide when submitting a form on this website, through the Transax widget, or through our Facebook lead forms.
- Lead and inquiry information: specific details collected from our forms, such as your message, your preferred contact method and date, service details, trade-in details (like the year, make, model, and condition of a trailer you want to trade), and your interests or preferences. Our "Get notified" feature also saves the inventory search filters you asked to be notified about.
- SMS consent records: if you check the box agreeing to receive text messages, we record that consent, the date and time it was given, and the exact consent language shown to you.
- Usage data: technical information generated automatically when you use the site, including your IP address, browser user-agent string, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this to respond appropriately and to protect our forms from spam and abuse.
- Cookies and local storage: the site uses session cookies for basic functionality (such as security tokens and remembering messages between pages) and your browser's local storage for convenience features like the trailer comparison tray. We use, or may use, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site. When analytics are active, Google sets cookies that collect site-usage statistics (such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, and how long you stay) and processes that data (including your IP address) on our behalf in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy; you can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Our anti-spam verification (Cloudflare Turnstile) and embedded third-party tools may set their own cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or run ad networks on this site.
How We Use Your Information
- Processing and responding to your leads and inquiries: when you submit a form on this site, through Transax, or through Facebook, we use the information provided to contact you, understand your needs, and offer appropriate services or products, including trailers, trade-ins, parts, and service.
- Preparing trade-in valuations and scheduling service appointments you request.
- Sending you inventory notifications you signed up for (each notification email includes a one-click unsubscribe link).
- Communicating with you: with your consent, we may use your contact information to send you updates or materials relevant to your interests.
- Sending text messages, but only if you gave us your express consent (see "SMS/Text Messaging" below).
- Providing and improving our services: operating, securing, and improving the website, including detecting and blocking spam submissions.

SMS/Text Messaging
By checking the SMS consent box on one of our forms, you give Trailer Source your express written consent to send you text messages about your inquiry, trade-in, service request, or inventory you asked to hear about, at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry and the conversation.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging rates apply to messages we send and messages you send us.
- Opting out: reply STOP at any time to cancel and stop receiving text messages from us. After you send STOP, we may send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.

No mobile opt-in information, phone numbers collected for SMS purposes, or SMS consent data will be shared with, sold to, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are used solely to communicate with you as described above and are never sold or shared with any third party for their marketing.
How We Share Information
We are committed to maintaining your privacy and do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties, except in the following circumstances:
- With service providers: trusted third-party providers who assist us in managing and processing leads, running the website, conducting our business, or providing services to you (for example, website hosting and email delivery). As stated above, SMS consent and mobile opt-in information are excluded from any sharing with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, without exception.

Our website fonts are hosted on our own server, not by any third-party font service, so no font requests are sent to an outside company.

We keep lead and inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, complete a transaction you asked about, and maintain our business records, after which it may be deleted. Inventory-notification subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. SMS consent records are retained as proof of consent for as long as required for compliance purposes. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Children's Privacy
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Website Analytics
We use simple, privacy-respecting analytics that we run ourselves to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed and for how long. This uses a first-party cookie (ts_vid) containing only a random identifier. It is never shared with or sold to third parties, and the browsing data we collect does not include your name or contact details unless you choose to submit a form. Raw browsing records are automatically deleted after 180 days.
